This is a polygon feature class containing named Woodfordian moraines, or Wisconsinan end moraines, of Illinois. Scale is 1:500,000. The primary source for the data is <a href="http://isgs.illinois.edu/publications/b094">ISGS Bulletin 94</a>, Pleistocene Stratigraphy of Illinois, Willman and Frye, 1970. Most of the Woodfordian sublobes left a succession of moraines, indicating a pulsing retreat of the ice. The data include the name of each moraine.
